Serbian accordionist and Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre student Aleksandar Radović presents a recital in three chapters: Baroque music, contemporary works, and virtuoso transcriptions. The programme places works from different musical worlds side by side, from the contrapuntal writing and formal clarity of the Baroque to the distinct sound language of contemporary composers. The final chapter turns to virtuoso transcriptions, focusing on the technical possibilities of the accordion and its ability to take on repertoire originally written for other instruments.
